Horizon Power has helped sponsor a Wanju Nyungar Boodja Welcome to Country Mural in the Esperance CBD by street artist Matt Adnate.
The portrait of respected Nyungar Elder, the late Mr Tom Bullen, was officially unveiled on Sunday, March 31 2019.
The company helped cover the cost of hiring the scissor lift required to complete the artwork.
The decision to undertake a mural project in the centre of town arose due to increasing interest in Nyungar heritage from local community members and visitors to the region and is intended to showcase and celebrate Indigenous culture and language as part of the nationwide Reconciliation process.
