Site works are currently occurring within the Karratha hills and along the Dampier highway for the upgrade of Horizon Power’s Karratha to Dampier transmission line.
These works will be ongoing until December 2020 and include power pole assembly, powerline stringing and cable jointing.
High volumes of project traffic will be present along the Dampier highway between Gap Ridge Estate and the Dampier and Burrup Road intersection, particularly around the causeway area.
There will be traffic management restrictions in place at times to ensure the safety of project personnel, and works will take place both during the day and at night.
