Horizon Power customers have various options available to them if they are struggling to pay their power bill.

We encourage customers finding it hard to make ends meet to contact us as soon as possible so our team can tailor a manageable payment arrangement.

Concessions, rebates and subsidies

Horizon Power provides a number of concessions, rebates and subsidies to eligible customers.

These rebates and subsidies are types of discounts and contributions toward the cost of electricity, provided by the State Government for eligible residential customers who hold the relevant concession cards.

* Customers with a WA Seniors Card AND either a Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card OR Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card with Dependent Children, are also entitled to the Air Conditioning Rebate.

To determine if you qualify for financial assistance through the state Hardship Utility Grant Scheme (HUGS) please contact us on 1800 267 926.

Payment options

Customers who receive Centrelink payments can pay their account using Centrepay, a free Centrelink direct bill paying service. Instead of paying your account every two months, payments are budgeted into smaller, more manageable amounts.
