Horizon Power supports misconduct investigation

The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) has today commenced public hearings as part of its ongoing investigation into possible misconduct involving a former employee and a former contractor of Horizon Power.

As part of the investigation, Horizon Power’s General Manager Corporate Services & Company Secretary, David Tovey, was examined before the Commission.

Horizon Power’s Managing Director, Frank Tudor said, “We will obviously continue to follow this investigation with interest.”

“The investigation is looking into possible misconduct by individuals who previously worked for Horizon Power.”

“We have no reason to think that the Commission will criticise Horizon Power’s policies and procedures in relation to this matter,” Mr Tudor said.

Horizon Power has been cooperating with the Commission’s investigation since it began and takes any allegations of misconduct very seriously.

As the Commission’s investigation is ongoing, Horizon Power cannot provide further comment on this matter at this time.
