Horizon Power is pleased to welcome Tiri Sanderson as its new General Manager Operations.
Tiri brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the organisation, having previously worked in operations, safety and improvement roles across mining, transport and consumer goods sectors.
Horizon Power’s Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Unwin said Tiri’s background and experience will enhance Horizon Power’s operations and the senior leadership team.
“Tiri’s appointment demonstrates Horizon Power’s commitment to ensuring we have the right expertise to perform our important role of ensuring the ongoing safe, reliable and efficient generation and distribution of electricity to customers throughout regional and remote Western Australia.”
Prior to joining Horizon Power, Tiri has led large safety critical teams across regional Western Australia in senior leadership roles with Rio Tinto Iron Ore and Aurizon.

Tiri said she is looking forward to joining the Horizon Power executive team and contributing to the provision of power to some of Western Australia’s most remote communities.
“I was drawn to Horizon Power because of its regional footprint and the emphasis the business places on contributing to regional communities, said Tiri.
“I welcome the opportunity to work with our teams to contribute to the ongoing safe and reliable operations of all of Horizon Power’s systems,” she said.
Tiri will commence with Horizon Power on Wednesday, 7 August 2019.
