Preliminary and completion notices
These notices are required by Horizon Power and are available from Building and Energy.
All Electrical Notices are required to be lodged via the E-Notice portal, available through The Office of Building and Energy. For registration and further information, visit https://www.commerce.wa.gov.au/building-and-energy/enotice-2
Once they are lodged, Horizon Power will receive a copy of your Preliminary or Completion Notice.
This chart demonstrates what happens when you submit your Preliminary and Completion Notices to Horizon Power and provides a guide for the processing timeframe. To avoid project delays, it is important that all paperwork you submit to us is fully complete and compliant. Please note, Horizon Power will not accept a Completion Notice without first receiving a compliant Preliminary Notice.
